Research
- Active Matter
- Magnetic Soft Matter
My research interests lie in computational active and soft matter physics. While my doctoral and earlier work focused on the properties of charged and magnetic colloidal suspensions, and their responses to external stimuli, I currently work on a variety of non-equilibrium systems. These include active granular matter, quadrupolar and magnetic active matter, (magnetic) particle transport via complex surfaces and the behavior of active(-ated) particles in complex environments more generally.
